Yoga, Meditation, and Energy Work

Decades of embodied practices, including early years as a professional dancer and subsequent years practicing and now teaching yoga have brought a unique depth of understanding to the mind/body/spirit principle of union.

Barbara is a 500hr Registered Yoga Teacher and Certified Meditation Instructor, receiving her 300hr RYT at Association for Yoga in Rishikesh, India and her 200hr RYT at Yoga Tree in San Francisco. Her meditation certification is through Ananda International School of Yoga Meditation. Encompassing the full spectrum of yogic teachings, which extend far beyond the physical aspect, Barbara incorporates these fundamental yet often overlooked practices and philosophies into her teaching style.

Barbara is a KAP Facilitator, one of only 80 worldwide. KAP stands for Kundalini Activation Process, a profoundly transformative energy transmission founded and mentored by Master Energy Worker Venant Wong. Barbara also works directly with healing energies from the celestial/angelic realm, initiated into this transmission by world-renowned channel and healer Asil Toksal.

Over the last several years, a strong commitment to spiritual growth has evoked a series of ever-deepening, evolutionary awakenings, enabling Barbara to stretch beyond both lineages and their teachings, and to connect with Source energy itself… a connection she transmits during her work.

Along her spiritual journey, Barbara has accrued a vast background of experiential wisdom alongside an intellectual understanding in both the traditional teachings of India as well as that of the modern mystics, bringing a well-rounded approach to this path toward wholeness, a path she is called and directed to share with all who are willing to receive.

Barbara has created the Surrender Your Stress program to assist people along their Nidra Sleep Journey towards sleep wellness. By gaining an understanding of exactly what is going on inside you when you are stressed, you can then begin to approach things differently. Knowledge is power. The practices themselves are time-tested in the East and are supported by science in the West, and with daily attention to them, you are bound to see life become less stressful. That is the inherent nature of these practices. Less stress means a happier, healthier life.
